Helped in enhancing the company's market presence by revamping its website to showcase its extensive product line with a fresh new design. This was a freelance project during which I handled client calls, created designs, and delivered the final website on WordPress. Here are some challenges I encountered during this journey:

Challenge 1 - Client’s requirements

1. “The current website is very outdated. Our competitors are showing their business very nicely. Need to develop something like them. We are now serving across the oceans and have a large group of customers so the core purpose is to show them which brands we deal with and the vast quantity of products we stock.” Aliasger Haweli Wala (General Manager)

2. As a freelance UX/UI designer, I thoroughly understood the requirements and developed a design roadmap. I began with competitive research and then moved on to creating wireframes, incorporating frequent feedback from the client. Once the wireframes were finalized, I proceeded with the UI design by developing a library of small components, including a color palette and other essential elements.

   
   Outcome: The website design was completed in 1.5 months, and the client was pleased with the final layout. Additionally, I also crafted several social media posts to boost brand awareness. Link to old website

Challenge 2 - Hard deadlines

1. This was my first freelance website design job. The challenge was to meet deadlines and ensure the website was developed as per the designs.

2. For this, I adhered to a strict schedule to ensure it wouldn't affect my office or freelance work. After designing the website, I collaborated with my friend to create a custom website theme on WordPress.

   
   Outcome: The designs were well implemented in WordPress as per the designs. We launched the website late, but I put in my best effort to complete the project.

Impact

They are securing an excellent position in their digital space. The new website is helping them to showcase their unique offerings while actively engaging their customers worldwide.

My learnings

1. I have learned how to effectively manage my time and always strive to deliver the best results within a set timeframe.

2. I also learned how to work with WordPress. I not only fixed a few development bugs but also added products and content to the website.
